7/10: Suisun Bay gave us a solid day of fishing. The striper bite was steady, with cut baits and live bait doing most of the work. Paddle tails and jerkbaits also drew strikes, adding some variety. Sturgeon were trickier, with ghost shrimp and roe bringing a few to the net but nothing huge.
The weather was overcast with a slight breeze, keeping things comfortable. The mix of techniques kept the day interesting and reminded us that adaptability is key out here.
