We're California natives. We fish the lakes, the surf, the ocean, the rivers, and the streams, and we've tracked fish plants across this state for years. California Fish Plants is the tool we always wanted, so we built it.
Why we built it
This started as an internal tool for our own crew. We just wanted to know where and when fish were hitting the water so we could spend less time guessing and more time fishing. Word got out, other anglers wanted the same edge, so we opened it up to everyone.
What makes us different
We track both public and private fish plants. Public agency plants and the private stockings nobody else reports. No other platform tracks both, and none does it at the level we do. We turn it into a live map, weekly updates, fishing reports, and spot-by-spot guides you can actually use.

Our shop features tackle from California makers: spoons, jigs, and baits built and tested in the same waters you fish. Nothing against the big brands, we run them too. But it's no coincidence that gear made by California anglers who've fished these waters for decades just flat-out performs here. We're not the government. We're not affiliated with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, and you should always verify regulations and conditions before you go. But here's the thing: we pull our data from every source we can get our hands on and keep it as current as humanly possible, because we use this site ourselves every single time we head out. Our own trips depend on it.
