Catfish hitting near dam using bait. Trout action limited due to high stained water.
Trout in the 3-6 lb range, both bait and lures working along shoreline from marina to narrows and Badger Cove. Scents helping with powerbait and dough baits.
Scented bait (mouse tails, PowerBait) most effective in dirty water, light line, small hooks, light sinkers recommended.
Bite has slowed but expected to improve with tubes productive along open shorelines and docks.

The upcoming week should bring mild temperatures and plenty of dry days in most areas, perfect for hitting the water. This week, California is planting an impressive 30,130 pounds of trout across 48 locations. Including unannounced plants, last week totaled 19,475 pounds of trout across 22 locations. So LOTS of trout, concentrated in NorCal and SoCal

Trout over 7 lbs and bass over 4 lbs being caught, jigs and spoons in the Cove, bait from the dock, sight-casting with lures and bait in the Row. Spoons with white color working best right now.
