Bug pattern jigs working well right now, try things like hopper (grasshopper pattern), dragonfly, or beetle patterns. Trout are still in there. Catfish plants kick off this week.
Brighter colored spoons like spicy mango proving to work in norcal spots like Sandy Wool as well.
5g bullet size spoons doing well along weed lines to catch bigger trout.

Lots of limits being caught on jigs and spoons. Also 20+ lb striper caught

Last trout plant of the season. Good catches in the 2lb range using minnow pattern jigs.
Lots of catches still happening, marina area is doing best, then boaters, then southern area, but productive across the lake overall with carolina rigs as well as trolling on the lake.

Half at the dam, half at spillway. 6.9 lber caught near spillway. Launch cove doing well with spoons.
Calaveras Trout 1000 of them are lightnings.
Clean water and heavy plants are producing a high-volume mix of bigger rainbows and lightning trout.
Limited pressure making this pretty good for both lightning trout and trophy bass right now.
Action is fair. Spring bass starting to congregate around sunken structure and tules.

Spoons have been productive along weed lines. Try rainbow trout colorways like βThe Donβ by Dancin Fish Baits. Rising water levels have improved the bite for trout, bass, and carp, especially near the Narrows.
Jigs working well. Fish Thug Baits jigs working well in NorCal like Lake Chabot as well, with several 4+ lbers. Big restock and new releases of Fish Thug Baits coming soon. Also, bass are moving into the shallows near the West Shore Trail and weed beds.
