Collins Lake has been full of action, with plenty of trout in the 4 to 8 lb range. The bite has been more active in the afternoon and early mornings, making for some solid fishing.

Trolling Kastmasters in gold and red at Folsom Lake has been getting it done. The bite has been steady, especially in the afternoon.
Lake Wohlford is planting this week: 1000lbs.
Whiskeytown Lake is already turning out kokanee in the 14β to 16β range, and April/May is going to be great. Lots of kokanee in the system, and things should only get better from here.
Don Pedro Reservoir has been slow in the mornings, but afternoons have been great. Dodgers and flashers have been the key to success, with trolling a nightcrawler putting fish in the boat. Rain could impact conditions, so keep an eye on the weather.
