7/10: Fishing the East Delta was solid this week. Largemouth bass stayed shallow and hit spinnerbaits and chatterbaits hard. Topwater lures added some excitement early, but the action slowed midday. Striped bass were around but didn’t show much interest in biting.
The weather was sunny and mild, making it a great day to be on the water. While not a banner trip, it was productive and left plenty of room for planning the next outing.
