Bass, Bluegill, and Deep-Water Trout at Del Valle

The bite at Del Valle has been lively with plenty of bass and bluegill action near the shorelines. Tossing small spinners or drop-shot rigs around submerged structures yielded consistent bites, making it a fun outing for all skill levels. For trout, we worked the cool, deep water by the dam with trolling setups and spoons. Weather was mild, with calm winds making conditions ideal for a full day on the water. While no monsters came to the net, we ended with a decent mix of panfish and a couple of solid rainbows to wrap things up.
